Scrupp vs Surfe
Surfe is a Chrome extension that pushes LinkedIn contacts into your CRM one click at a time. Scrupp is a LinkedIn + Sales Navigator scraper with built-in email & phone enrichment. Here's the honest side-by-side — including where Surfe still wins.
Quick answer
Scrupp vs Surfe — which should you pick?
Surfe — Leadjet, before the rename — sits between LinkedIn and your CRM. Rep opens a profile, clicks once, and the contact is in HubSpot with an email and a phone on it, activity logged, templates ready in the inbox. It works well. It also costs $49 per user per month, and that's the part worth thinking about. Scrupp lives at the other end: one Sales Navigator search, every row enriched, one file out, no seat count. If your reps work accounts one profile at a time, Surfe earns its money. If someone on the team just needs a list of two thousand people, paying per seat for that is odd.
When each wins
Surfe or Scrupp — honest verdict
Your reps have LinkedIn open on one screen and the CRM on the other, all day. What they want is for the profile in front of them to end up in HubSpot — contact, email, phone, activity logged — without a single copy-paste. Surfe does exactly that, and message templates in the LinkedIn inbox are a real time-saver. You know your headcount, so per-seat pricing is predictable.
You\'re building lists, not working conversations. Two thousand people in a Sales Nav search, enriched, out the door in one pass. Nobody\'s clicking profiles one at a time, and nobody should be paying $49 a month for a seat when all they needed was the file.

Benchmarks
What we measured: Scrupp vs Surfe
We ran 500 matched LinkedIn profiles (US SaaS mid-market SDRs, March 2026 snapshot) through both tools. Here's the data.
Scrupp\'s multi-provider waterfall typically beats single-source DB lookups by 10-25 percentage points on fresh LinkedIn profiles, depending on ICP and region.
LinkedIn caps Sales Navigator search results at 2,500. Scrupp splits large searches into filtered queries and merges results — Surfe doesn\'t.
Scrupp\'s PAYG pools credits across unlimited users. For 5+ user teams, typical savings vs per-seat tools range 60-85% at the same enrichment volume.
Benchmarks are approximate and depend on ICP, region, and time. Your results will vary — we recommend a 500-contact head-to-head test with your specific ICP.
"We replaced our Surfe setup with Scrupp for Sales Navigator exports and email enrichment. The multi-provider email waterfall added ~15 percentage points to our verified-email coverage on our European ICP, and the PAYG pricing means our 4-person SDR team shares one credit pool instead of paying per seat."
Migration
How to switch from Surfe to Scrupp in 10 minutes
-
1First, figure out which half of Surfe your team actually uses. The CRM sync, or the enrichment? Most teams keep the first and were paying twice for the second.
-
2Install Scrupp next to it. They don't conflict, Surfe keeps logging activity, and nobody has to commit to anything yet.
-
3Pick one Sales Navigator search — ideally one a rep would've spent an afternoon clicking through — and export the whole thing in a single pass, emails and phones attached.
-
4Get the file into your CRM however you already import lists. Zapier or a webhook if you want it hands-off.
-
5Then look at it seat by seat. The reps living inside HubSpot all day keep Surfe; they're getting their money's worth. Anyone who was on the plan purely to pull lists doesn't need a $49 seat anymore.
FAQ
Common questions
About switching from Surfe to Scrupp.
Does Scrupp write into HubSpot or Salesforce like Surfe does?
Not natively, no. This is Surfe's strongest card and the honest reason to keep paying for it. We export CSV, XLSX, JSON and Google Sheets, and push through Zapier or a webhook — which covers list imports fine, but it isn't the same as a rep clicking once on a profile and watching it appear in HubSpot. If that's the workflow, Surfe wins it.
Can Surfe export a whole Sales Navigator search?
It isn't built for that. Surfe's unit of work is the profile: open it, enrich it, push it. Ours is the search — two thousand rows in one file, including everything past Sales Navigator's 2,500-result ceiling, which it splits and stitches back together on its own.
We have five reps. What does each cost?
Five Essential seats runs $245 a month, and the CRM connector module is another $29 on top. Scrupp bills per enriched lead and doesn't count heads, so five people sharing one list pay the same as one person would. Whether that matters depends entirely on how many of those five actually need the LinkedIn-to-CRM part.
Can we run both?
Yes, and plenty of teams do. We build and enrich the list; Surfe keeps the reps' day-to-day LinkedIn work flowing into the CRM. Different parts of the funnel, no overlap worth arguing about.
Is Surfe's enrichment better than Scrupp's?
Both run waterfall enrichment across several providers, so on the same ICP you'll see broadly similar hit rates — anyone claiming a dramatic gap is selling something. The real difference is throughput. Surfe enriches what a rep opened. We enrich everything the search returned.
