How the Scrupp Zapier integration works

The Scrupp Zapier integration lets non-technical users pipe LinkedIn scrape results into any app Zapier supports — no backend code, no webhook config, no HMAC verification. In Zapier, pick Scrupp as your trigger app, choose an event (New enriched lead, New scrape completed), connect your Scrupp account via API key, then pick your destination (HubSpot, Airtable, Slack, anywhere). Zapier handles polling, mapping, and delivery. Typical setup: 2 minutes per Zap.

Your first Zap in 3 minutes

No dev work. If you've set up a Zap before, this feels familiar.

1
Pick Scrupp as your Zapier trigger

In Zapier, create a new Zap. Search for "Scrupp" in the trigger app picker. Pick the event: New enriched lead (fires per row) or New scrape completed (fires per scrape with summary).

2
Connect your Scrupp account

Paste your Scrupp API key (find it in Scrupp settings). Zapier verifies the connection and pulls a sample payload for you to map.

3
Pick your destination

HubSpot, Salesforce, Airtable, Notion, Slack, Smartlead, Instantly, Clay, Google Sheets — any of 5,000+ Zapier apps. Map Scrupp fields to destination fields. Test. Turn on.

Triggers and actions

What Scrupp exposes to the Zapier ecosystem.

Triggers

Scrupp → Zapier. Fires a Zap when something happens in Scrupp.

  • New enriched lead — fires for every row where Scrupp verified an email
  • New unverified lead — fires for every row where verification failed (route to manual QA)
  • Scrape completed — fires once per scrape with summary stats (total rows, success rate, cost)
Actions

Zapier → Scrupp. Let other apps trigger Scrupp operations.

  • Enrich contact — pass a LinkedIn URL or name + company, get back verified email and phone
  • Verify email — pass an email address, get SMTP + waterfall verification result
  • Bulk enrich — pass a list of LinkedIn URLs, get back enriched rows asynchronously

Zapier integration FAQ

Is the Scrupp Zapier integration free?

The Scrupp side is free — no charge for using the Zapier integration. Zapier itself charges based on their own plan (free plan includes 100 tasks/month, paid starts at $19.99/mo for 750 tasks).

Do I need a Scrupp paid plan for this?

No. The integration works on the free Scrupp plan. You still pay only for successful enrichments (typically $0.01-0.03 per verified lead), same as using Scrupp directly.

How often does Zapier poll for new leads?

Depends on your Zapier plan — Free polls every 15 minutes, paid plans poll every 2-5 minutes. For real-time delivery, use the direct Scrupp webhook instead.

Can I filter which leads trigger the Zap?

Yes. Add a Zapier Filter step after the Scrupp trigger — route only leads where email_confidence = A, headcount > 50, or whatever criteria fits your ICP. Noisy leads get dropped before hitting your CRM.

What is the Scrupp vs direct webhook difference?

The Zapier integration is for non-technical users — no backend, no code. The direct webhook is for developers who want real-time delivery without Zapier task costs. Under the hood, the Zapier app uses the same Scrupp API.

Can I use Make or n8n instead of Zapier?

Yes. Both Make (Integromat) and n8n have HTTP modules that work with the Scrupp webhook directly. Use whichever fits your team's tooling.
