How Scrupp exports LinkedIn to Google Sheets

To export LinkedIn leads directly to Google Sheets, install the free Scrupp Chrome extension, connect your Google account in one OAuth step, then click Export to Google Sheets on any LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search. Scrupp paginates through the results, enriches each row with verified work emails and phone numbers via multi-provider waterfall, and streams the data into a new sheet in your Google Drive — typically 3-5 minutes for a 500-lead export. You never touch a CSV.

From install to first sheet in under 2 minutes

One-time OAuth, then every future export is a single click.

1
Install the Scrupp Chrome extension

Free from the Chrome Web Store. Works on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, and Apollo. No credit card for signup; sign in with Google for the fastest onboarding.

2
Connect Google Sheets

One OAuth click. Scrupp requests only drive.file and spreadsheets scopes — it can only touch sheets it creates or that you explicitly open. Your existing Drive files stay private.

3
Click "Export to Google Sheets"

On any LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search, open the Scrupp extension and pick Export to Google Sheets. A new sheet appears in your Drive, rows stream in live as Scrupp paginates and enriches.

What ends up in your Google Sheet

Fixed 12-column layout, predictable for VLOOKUP / query / import into your CRM.

# Column Source
1 Full name LinkedIn profile
2 First name Parsed from full name
3 Last name Parsed from full name
4 Job title LinkedIn profile, current position
5 Company LinkedIn profile, current employer
6 Company domain Inferred from company page + clearbit-style lookup
7 LinkedIn URL Profile URL (unique row identifier)
8 Verified email Multi-provider waterfall + SMTP verification
9 Email confidence A / B / C grade based on verification signal
10 Phone Provider waterfall, where available
11 Location City / country from LinkedIn
12 Scraped at ISO timestamp of the scrape run

Rows deduplicated by LinkedIn URL. Append mode preserves existing sheet content.

What Scrupp can and cannot do with your Google account

✓ Scrupp can
  • Create new Google Sheets in your Drive
  • Append rows to sheets it previously created
  • Append rows to sheets you explicitly open via a picker
  • Read the sheet URL to return it back to you
✗ Scrupp cannot
  • See any existing file in your Drive
  • Read email, calendar, contacts, or other Google data
  • Share sheets with anyone else
  • Delete or rename your existing files

Scrupp uses the drive.file scope — the most restrictive Drive scope available. It explicitly cannot read your existing files. You can revoke access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions or from Scrupp settings.

Google Sheets export, answered

Everything users ask before they connect.

What permissions does Scrupp request from Google?

Only spreadsheets and drive.file. Scrupp cannot see any file it did not create itself (or that you did not explicitly open via a picker). It has zero access to Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google product.

Can I export to an existing Google Sheet?

Yes. When you export, you can either create a new sheet (default) or pick an existing one via the Google picker. Appending to an existing sheet preserves all prior content and adds rows after the last written row.

Are emails verified before they hit the sheet?

Yes. Every email goes through Scrupp's waterfall: 5+ data providers, catch-all detection, and real-time SMTP verification. Only verified emails are written, with an A/B/C confidence grade in its own column so you can filter the risky ones before sending outreach.

Does this work on free LinkedIn accounts?

Yes. Scrupp's Chrome extension works on both standard LinkedIn search and Sales Navigator. Sales Navigator unlocks more filters, but any LinkedIn account can use the Google Sheets export.

How are 2,500+ result searches handled?

Sales Navigator caps the visible search results at 2,500 rows. Scrupp bypasses this by auto-splitting the search into smaller filtered queries and merging the results into the same sheet. You can export 10K+ leads from a single strategic search.

Can I disconnect Google Sheets later?

Any time. In Scrupp settings, click Disconnect Google Sheets — Scrupp revokes its OAuth token on Google's side and deletes the credential row from its database. You can also revoke from Google directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Is this different from the Scrupp Google Sheets add-on?

Yes, opposite direction. The Scrupp add-on lets you call Scrupp formulas from within a sheet (=GPT(A2), =SCRUPP(...)). This integration goes the other way — pushing LinkedIn scrape results into a sheet from the Chrome extension. Most users use both.

Stop copy-pasting CSVs

Install Scrupp, connect Google Sheets once, and export LinkedIn searches directly into your sheets forever.
