Search LinkedIn or Sales Navigator for the CTO titles below, filtered by Engineering and CXO, then export the search with the Scrupp Chrome extension. Scrupp returns each person with the work email and phone number it finds, so one search becomes a list of CTOs you can contact.

Step 1
Build the search
In Sales Navigator, set Function: Engineering and Seniority level: CXO, add the title search above, then narrow by company headcount, industry and geography. On regular LinkedIn, use People search with the title keywords and location.

Step 2
Check the first page
Read ten results. If people with the wrong job show up, add their title words to the search with NOT, then save the search so you can rerun it.

Step 3
Export with Scrupp
With the Scrupp Chrome extension installed, click its button on the results. Sales Navigator stops a search at 2,500 results; Scrupp exports more than that from the same search.

Get emails and phones
Scrupp looks up a work email and a phone number for each person. Download the list as CSV or Excel, or send it to HubSpot or Pipedrive.

What works with CTOs
- At startups the CTO is often still writing code; short, technical messages work better than sales language.
- For internal IT tools, add Function: Information Technology and the CIO title in a separate search.
- Check the list before you send: Scrupp marks addresses on catch-all domains as probable rather than verified, and you can run a bulk check with the email verifier.

Questions about finding CTO emails
CTO or VP Engineering: who should I contact?
At companies of a few hundred people and up, the VP Engineering usually runs the team and the tooling, while the CTO sets technical direction. Export both.
Will I get an email for every CTO?
No. Across Scrupp exports a work email is found for 36.3% of people, and the share depends on the companies in your list. You pay for an email only when one is found.
Do I need Sales Navigator?
No. A regular LinkedIn search with title keywords works. Sales Navigator adds the function and seniority filters, which make the list cleaner.
