How to export LinkedIn leads to Attio

Short answer

Export the LinkedIn leads with Scrupp, which adds work emails and phone numbers, download the list as CSV, and import it into Attio with its own CSV import. There is no Attio app to install: the file is the hand-off.

From LinkedIn to Attio

  1. Step 1

Run a people search on LinkedIn

Use the regular LinkedIn search with the filters you need: title keywords, location, current company, industry. Sales Navigator is not required. You can also open a single profile.

  2. Step 2

    Click the Scrupp button

With the Scrupp Chrome extension installed, click its button on the results page. Scrupp collects the people in the search and looks up a work email and a phone number for each one.

  3. Step 3

Check the list in your workspace

The leads land in a list in your Scrupp workspace with name, title, company, location, LinkedIn URL and the contacts found. People already in another of your lists are flagged.

  4. Step 4

    Import the file into Attio

In Attio, open the People object (or a list) and use Import CSV. Map email, name, job title, company and LinkedIn URL to attributes.

Columns you map in Attio

Each row is one person. The export carries these columns, plus a few more you can leave unmapped:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Job title
  • Company
  • LinkedIn URL
  • Work email
  • Phone
  • Location

Before you import

  • Attio identifies people by email and companies by domain, so rows with an email or a company domain merge into existing records.
  • Test on ten rows first, open two or three records in Attio and check the fields landed where you expected.
  • Scrupp reads what LinkedIn shows you in the search, so the list is only as precise as your filters. It does not send messages or connection requests on LinkedIn.

Questions about LinkedIn to Attio

Do I need Sales Navigator?

No. Scrupp works on regular LinkedIn searches and profiles. Sales Navigator gives more filters and saved lists, and Scrupp works there too.

Does Scrupp have a native Attio integration?

No. Scrupp exports CSV, Excel or JSON, and Attio imports the file. Native pushes exist only for HubSpot and Pipedrive.

What does it cost?

Exporting a lead costs 1 credit, plus 1 credit when a work email is found and 2 when a phone number is delivered. Nothing extra is charged for contacts not found. The free plan gives 100 credits a month with no credit card.

Will every row have an email?

No. Across Scrupp exports a work email is found for 36.3% of people, and the share in your list depends on who is in it. Rows with nothing found are still in the file.
