What you don't pay for
Credits pay for data we actually deliver. The cases below cost nothing. Where credits were already held or charged, they come back on their own, with no ticket needed.
Never charged
-
Emails we can't find
In a list, an email costs +1 credit only when we find one. A lead without an email costs no extra.
-
Phones we don't deliver
A phone costs +2 credits only when we deliver a number. No number, no phone charge.
-
Probable addresses
Addresses guessed from a domain's format on a catch-all server can't be verified. You get them marked as probable, free.
-
A CSV job that finds nothing
If an enrichment of your uploaded file adds nothing to any row, the whole job is free.
-
People you already have
A contact already in another of your active lists is not billed again. If we spot the repeat after billing, the credits are returned.
-
API tasks that return nothing
An API task holds its estimated cost up front, then settles to what it delivered. A task with no results returns the whole hold. This happens even if your integration never asks for the result again.

-
One-time packs never expire
Credits from a pack stay on your account and stack on top of any subscription.
-
Subscription credits roll over
On paid plans, unused monthly credits carry into the next month while the subscription is active. Free credits reset to 100 each month.
What does cost credits
So nothing on your bill surprises you: exporting a lead costs 1 credit whether or not
we find an email for it. API /email/find costs 1 credit per request, even
when no email is found. Bulk verification and API /email/verify cost
1 credit per address submitted. Full rates are on the
pricing page.
Money refunds
The rules above return credits automatically. Payments themselves are covered by our refund policy. Questions about a charge go to a support ticket from your account.
