Does this work with Pipedrive Essential?

Yes. API access is available on all Pipedrive tiers including Essential.

Can Scrupp create Deals automatically?

Yes. In Scrupp settings, toggle "Create Deal per Person" and pick the stage. Each new Person gets a Deal at that stage with value 0 (adjustable later).

How does Scrupp handle existing Persons?

Scrupp matches by email first. If the Person exists, Scrupp either skips (default) or fills empty fields — your choice in settings.

Does Scrupp touch my existing Deals?

No. Scrupp only creates new Persons, Organizations, and optionally new Deals. Existing pipeline data is never modified.

Can I use a custom pipeline / stage?

Yes. Scrupp pulls your pipeline structure on connect and lets you pick any stage in any pipeline as the target for new Deals.
