Kaspr vs PhantomBuster: Phone Numbers or Workflows?

Short answer: pick Kaspr if you need phone numbers for people you find on LinkedIn, and PhantomBuster if you need to run collection jobs and workflows on a schedule. Kaspr is a Chrome extension that reveals a profile's email and phone and sells a fixed number of phone credits per seat: 100 a month on Starter, at $49 a user a month billed yearly. PhantomBuster sells run time and slots; its Start plan is $69 a month with 20 hours of run time and 500 email-discovery credits, and its plan table lists no phone credits at all.

What does each one actually do on LinkedIn?

Kaspr works one profile or one list at a time. You open a LinkedIn profile, a Sales Navigator list or, on the Business plan, a Recruiter Lite page, and the extension shows contact details, spending a credit of the matching type: phone, direct email or export. Kaspr's pricing page shows Sales Navigator support from the Starter plan up; the free plan does not include it.

PhantomBuster runs scripts called Phantoms that collect data from pages and chain steps into workflows. You pay for how long they run and how many you keep set up. It is built for repeated jobs, not for looking up one person's mobile number.

Which costs less per contact?

For phone numbers the answer is Kaspr, because PhantomBuster's plans do not include phone credits. For emails it depends on volume. A Kaspr Starter seat gives B2B emails under a fair-use policy for $49 a month on yearly billing. PhantomBuster Start gives 500 email-discovery credits for $56 a month on yearly billing, about 11 cents each if you use them all, plus the run time you need to collect the list in the first place. If you only want contact details for people you have already found, Kaspr is the simpler bill. If you also need the collection and scheduling, PhantomBuster's price covers work Kaspr does not do.

Is there a case for neither?

Yes, when the real task is getting a whole LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search into a spreadsheet with emails and phones, neither Kaspr nor PhantomBuster is built for bulk one-click scraping. Kaspr reveals contacts list by list, and PhantomBuster requires setting up and running workflows over time. Tools like Scrupp specialize in exporting full Sales Navigator searches in one go—bypassing the 2,500 result viewing limit—while enriching profiles with verified business emails and phone numbers. It charges predictable credits per lead and offers a free tier, making it an efficient alternative for data extraction without outreach automation.
