Short answer: these two no longer compete for the same job. Skrapp is a standalone email finder: free to try with 50 credits, then $39 a month (or $29 billed yearly) for 2,000 credits, and you pay only for emails it returns as valid or catch-all. Clearbit cannot be bought on its own any more. HubSpot acquired it in 2023 and its data now works as enrichment inside HubSpot, so you need a paid HubSpot subscription to use it. If you want email addresses for a list of people, choose Skrapp. If your contacts already live in HubSpot and you want company fields filled in on the record, that is what Clearbit's data now does.
What each one is today
| Skrapp | Clearbit (inside HubSpot) | |
|---|---|---|
| How you buy it | Own website, card payment, monthly or yearly | As part of a paid HubSpot subscription |
| Main job | Find and verify the business email of a person | Add company and contact attributes to HubSpot records |
| Free use | 50 credits in total, 1 user, no list exports | None without a paid HubSpot plan |
| Entry price | Professional: $39 a month or $29 billed yearly, 2,000 credits, 2 users | HubSpot Starter hub plus the credits enrichment uses |
| Larger plan | Enterprise: $349 a month or $262 billed yearly, 50,000 credits, 15 users | Higher HubSpot tiers include more credits |
| Unused credits | Roll over, and you keep them if you cancel | HubSpot's included credits reset monthly and do not roll over |
Sources: skrapp.io/pricing, read on 19 October 2026. HubSpot's credits page and product catalog, read on 19 October 2026: paid HubSpot plans include HubSpot Credits (500 a month on Starter hubs, 3,000 on Professional, 5,000 on Enterprise), and extra credits cost $0.010 each. The catalog does not list how many credits one enrichment uses. Zeliq's review of HubSpot data enrichment, with prices it says were checked in September 2026, quoted the earlier add-on at $45 a month for 100 credits on annual billing. How Skrapp charges
- A finder result marked Valid or Catch-all costs 1 credit.
- Invalid and Unknown results cost nothing.
- Verifying one address costs 1 credit.
- The team shares one credit pool, and unused credits move to the next month.
At full use that is about $0.02 a credit on Professional monthly ($39 ÷ 2,000) and about $0.005 on Enterprise yearly ($262 ÷ 50,000). Two caveats. Catch-all addresses are charged but are not confirmed to exist, so on a list of companies with catch-all mail servers you pay for addresses you still have to test. And Skrapp's pricing page does not mention phone numbers.
Why the comparison still comes up
The two names are still searched together, but the overlap is narrower than it looks:
- Starting from a person's name and company: Skrapp finds the email. Clearbit data in HubSpot fills in fields on a record you already have.
- Starting from LinkedIn: Skrapp's free plan already works on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and LinkedIn Recruiter pages; saving and exporting whole lists needs Professional.
Which to choose
You are not on HubSpot, or you are on its free CRM. Skrapp. Clearbit's data is not available to you without a paid HubSpot plan.
You pay for HubSpot and want cleaner company records. Use the enrichment that comes with your plan's credits first. It works on records you already have.
You need new contacts, not cleaner old ones. Neither Skrapp nor Clearbit natively builds massive lists directly from LinkedIn searches for you. If your workflow relies heavily on LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, specialized B2B lead generation tools like Scrupp bridge this gap by extracting search results past the 2,500-result Sales Navigator limit while finding verified work emails and phone numbers.
