Apollo vs Kaspr: Database Seat or LinkedIn Phone Finder?

Short answer: Kaspr is the cheaper way to get phone numbers from LinkedIn profiles: its Starter plan is $49 per user a month on annual billing and includes 100 phone credits a month plus B2B emails under a fair-use policy. Apollo costs about the same per seat ($49 a month on annual Basic) but sells something broader: its own contact database, sequences and a dialer. Pick Kaspr if your team prospects on LinkedIn and mainly needs mobiles. Pick Apollo if you want to search a database and run outreach from the same seat.

They start from different places

Kaspr works on top of LinkedIn. You open a profile or a Sales Navigator list, and Kaspr reveals the person's email and phone, spending a credit of the matching type. Apollo works from its own database: you build the list with Apollo's filters, then reveal and export contacts inside Apollo. That difference decides most of the choice. If your team already lives in Sales Navigator, Kaspr adds contact details to the work you do there. If you do not use Sales Navigator, Apollo gives you a place to search.

What one seat costs and includes

Kaspr Free$0$05 phone and 5 direct-email credits a month, a small B2B email allowance

Kaspr Business$79 (€79)$99 (€99)200 phone and 200 direct-email credits a month, more exports
Apollo Free$0$0900 credits a year, granted monthly
Apollo Basic$49$5930,000 credits a year, granted upfront
Apollo Professional$79$9948,000 credits a year

Sources: kaspr.io/pricing, read on 20 October 2026; the page shows two prices per plan without labelling them, and we matched them to annual and monthly billing using its own "per month / per year" credit columns and our reading of the same page on 9 October. Apollo: prices and credits as tracked by Zeliq (27 July 2026) and Costbench (26 July 2026); apollo.io/pricing showed the plan names but not the prices as text when we checked on 17 October. Phones are where the two differ most

Kaspr counts phone credits separately and states them per plan: 100 a month on Starter, 200 on Business, unused ones rolling over on paid plans. You know up front how many mobile numbers a seat can reveal. Apollo puts emails, phone numbers and exports on separate limits within its credit system, and its credits do not roll over; check the cost of a mobile reveal in your own account before you assume 30,000 credits means 30,000 phone numbers. A team that calls more than it emails will usually find Kaspr's allowance easier to plan around.

Apollo is worth the same money when:

  • You need to find companies and people you have not identified yet, without a Sales Navigator licence.
  • You want sequences, a dialer and the database in one tool instead of three.
  • Several reps share one credit pool, so a heavy user can draw on the team's allowance.

A third option for LinkedIn-first teams

Kaspr reveals contacts one profile or one list at a time. If you need a whole Sales Navigator or LinkedIn search as a file, Scrupp exports it in one go, past the 2,500 results Sales Navigator shows, and looks up emails and phones for each person. Pricing is per lead rather than per seat: 1 credit per lead, 1 more for a found email and 2 more for a found phone, with 100 free credits a month. See Scrupp vs Kaspr or Apollo alternatives.
